ईरान-अमेरिका वार्ता से पहले बढ़ता तनाव, कूटनीतिक संकेतों की जंग और वैश्विक राजनीति की उलझनें इस बात की ओर इशारा कर रही हैं कि इस्लामाबाद की बातचीत सिर्फ बातचीत नहीं, बल्कि एक बड़े भू-राजनीतिक मोड़ का संकेत हो सकती है।
मुझे नहीं मालूम कि कल 11 अप्रैल को इस्लामाबाद में क्या होने वाला है।
बहुत लंबे-चौड़े आरोप हैं। कुल मिलाकर एपस्टीन फाइल्स का मामला मेलानिया ट्रंप मैडम ने जिन्दा कर दिया है। बात फिर दूसरी तरफ चली गई। फिर से इस्लामाबाद पर बात जारी रखता हूं।
अमेरिका के उपराष्ट्रपति JD Vance इस्लामाबाद के लिए रवाना हो चुके हैं, जहां प्रस्तावित वार्ता का अगला चरण होना है। JD Vance ने रवाना होने से पहले कहा, “अगर ईरान ईमानदारी से बातचीत के लिए तैयार है, तो अमेरिका भी खुले दिल से आगे बढ़ने को तैयार है। लेकिन अगर ईरान धोखा देने की कोशिश करता है, तो हमारी वार्ता टीम उसी अनुसार प्रतिक्रिया देगी।”
लेकिन राष्ट्रपति Donald Trump के इस बयान को गौर से पढ़िए और समझिए। ट्रंप ने कहा कि युद्ध विराम समझौते में लेबनान को शामिल नहीं किया गया था, लेकिन कुछ ही मिनटों बाद पाकिस्तान की ओर से दावा किया गया कि अमेरिका और ईरान के बीच हुए युद्धविराम में लेबनान भी शामिल है। इस विरोधाभास ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भ्रम की स्थिति पैदा कर दी है।
उधर, लेबनान के दक्षिणी शहर Nabatieh में इज़राइल द्वारा किए गए हवाई हमलों में कम से कम 12 नागरिकों की मौत और कई अन्य के घायल होने की खबर है। शुक्रवार को यह हमला सरकारी इमारतों पर किया गया, जो कथित तौर पर सैन्य ठिकाने नहीं थे। इस घटना ने क्षेत्रीय तनाव को और बढ़ा दिया है।
तो सारांश क्या है। अमेरिका की ओर से एक तरफ जहां कूटनीतिक प्रयास जारी हैं, वहीं दूसरी ओर कड़े संदेश भी दिए जा रहे हैं। आरोप यह भी हैं कि अमेरिका ने पाकिस्तान के जरिए ईरान से युद्धविराम की अपील की, जबकि सार्वजनिक मंचों पर सख्त रुख अपनाया।
मौजूदा घटनाक्रम से साफ है कि मध्य-पूर्व में स्थिति बेहद नाजुक बनी हुई है, जहां कूटनीति, सैन्य कार्रवाई और राजनीतिक रणनीति एक साथ चल रही हैं। आने वाले दिनों में इस्लामाबाद में होने वाली संभावित वार्ता इस पूरे संकट की दिशा तय कर सकती है।
On the Brink in Islamabad: Signals, Power Play, and the Shadow of Conflict
Rising tensions ahead of Iran–US talks, conflicting diplomatic signals, and layered global politics suggest that the Islamabad dialogue may not just be negotiations—but a निर्णायक moment shaping the future of the region.
I do not know what is going to happen tomorrow, April 11, in Islamabad.
Sitting in New Delhi, I do not want to indulge in speculation.
However, we can try to understand the signals by putting certain facts on the table. In high-level diplomacy, signals alone are often enough. So let us try to read these signals before the talks begin in Islamabad.
The first thing is clear: even before the proposed talks between Iran and the United States, diplomatic and military tensions appear to be rising rapidly.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf (M.B. Ghalibaf), has clearly indicated that two key conditions must be fulfilled before the talks can begin.
According to Ghalibaf, an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s blocked assets must both be implemented prior to negotiations. He stated that until these conditions are met, the talks cannot commence.
Ghalibaf is currently in Tehran and has not arrived in Islamabad. His presence in Tehran is being interpreted in diplomatic circles as a signal that Iran wants to maintain complete control over the terms of the negotiations.
If his absence affects the talks, it could have political repercussions extending into domestic politics in the United States. Some assessments suggest that if the negotiations fail, the impact could be felt in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections and even the 2028 presidential election.
Meanwhile, the Epstein files controversy has resurfaced. U.S. President Donald Trump’s wife and First Lady Melania Trump issued a statement saying that she has never had any connection with Jeffrey Epstein and that the speculation should stop.
But what happened afterward is notable.
Women who were victims of Epstein’s sexual crimes, along with their families, strongly criticized Melania. They accused her of lying and of covering up for elite individuals who were complicit in Epstein’s crimes. They alleged that she was protecting that elite class and even shielding Trump, claiming that she had reached him through Jeffrey Epstein.
These are extensive and serious allegations. Overall, it can be said that the Epstein files controversy has been revived by Melania Trump’s statement.
Now, returning to Islamabad—
U.S. Vice President JD Vance has departed for Islamabad, where the next phase of the proposed talks is expected to take place. Before leaving, he said:
“If Iran is ready to negotiate sincerely, the United States is also prepared to move forward with an open mind. But if Iran attempts to deceive, our negotiation team will respond accordingly.”
However, one must carefully read and understand President Donald Trump’s statement. Trump said that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire agreement. Yet, within minutes, Pakistan claimed that Lebanon was indeed part of the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. This contradiction has created confusion at the international level.
Meanwhile, in Lebanon’s southern city of Nabatieh, Israeli airstrikes reportedly killed at least 12 civilians and injured several others. The attack, carried out on Friday, targeted government buildings that were reportedly not military installations. This incident has further escalated regional tensions.
So what is the summary?
On one hand, the United States is continuing diplomatic efforts, while on the other, it is also sending strong and firm messages. There are also allegations that the U.S. appealed to Iran for a ceasefire through Pakistan, while maintaining a tough public stance.
The current developments clearly show that the situation in the Middle East remains extremely fragile, where diplomacy, military action, and political strategy are all unfolding simultaneously. The proposed talks in Islamabad in the coming days could determine the direction of this entire crisis.
One more thing remains—
Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu has now issued a direct warning to Spain. Spain has shown a strong backbone; it has stood with Iran from the beginning and aligned itself with what it considers just causes. Spain has openly opposed what it sees as American dominance. This stance has clearly angered Israel, which has now directly threatened Spain. Do not underestimate Spain’s importance.
Finally,
Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer said today that he is fed up with Trump and Putin. This is not a small statement.
I have said what I had to say. India remains entangled in Hindu-Muslim issues, while global diplomacy is not being given due attention. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a policeman reportedly entered a mosque on Friday and told worshippers that if their voices were heard outside, they would not be allowed to pray next time.
So let India remain caught in Hindu-Muslim divisions.
You should focus on justice and democracy in the world.
If cunning America comes to its senses, then its followers and allies will eventually do so as well.

لیکن ہم کچھ حقائق سامنے رکھ کر اشاروں کو سمجھ سکتے ہیں۔ اعلیٰ سطح کی سفارت کاری میں اشارے ہی کافی ہوتے ہیں۔ آئیے، اسلام آباد میں مذاکرات شروع ہونے سے پہلے ان اشاروں کو سمجھتے ہیں۔
سب سے پہلی بات یہ واضح ہے کہ ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان مجوزہ مذاکرات سے پہلے سفارتی اور عسکری کشیدگی تیزی سے بڑھتی ہوئی نظر آ رہی ہے۔
ایرانی پارلیمنٹ کے اسپیکر محمد باقر قالیباف (ایم بی قالیباف) نے واضح اشارہ دیا ہے کہ مذاکرات شروع ہونے سے پہلے دو اہم شرائط کا پورا ہونا ضروری ہے۔
قالیباف کے مطابق، لبنان میں فوری جنگ بندی اور ایران کے منجمد اثاثوں کی رہائی—یہ دونوں اقدامات مذاکرات سے پہلے نافذ ہونے چاہئیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جب تک یہ شرائط پوری نہیں ہوتیں، مذاکرات شروع نہیں ہو سکتے۔
قالیباف اس وقت تہران میں ہی موجود ہیں اور اسلام آباد نہیں پہنچے۔ ان کی تہران میں موجودگی کو سفارتی حلقوں میں اس بات کا اشارہ سمجھا جا رہا ہے کہ ایران مذاکرات کی شرائط پر مکمل کنٹرول برقرار رکھنا چاہتا ہے۔
اگر ان کی عدم موجودگی مذاکرات پر اثر ڈالتی ہے تو اس کے سیاسی اثرات امریکہ کی داخلی سیاست تک جا سکتے ہیں۔ بعض تجزیوں میں کہا جا رہا ہے کہ اگر مذاکرات ناکام ہوتے ہیں تو اس کا اثر 2026 کے امریکی مڈٹرم انتخابات اور 2028 کے صدارتی انتخابات تک محسوس کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
اسی دوران ایپسٹین فائلز کا معاملہ دوبارہ سامنے آ گیا ہے۔ امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کی اہلیہ اور فرسٹ لیڈی میلانیا ٹرمپ نے اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ ان کا جیفری ایپسٹین سے کبھی کوئی تعلق نہیں رہا اور اس معاملے پر قیاس آرائیاں بند ہونی چاہئیں۔
لیکن اس کے بعد کیا ہوا، یہ اہم ہے۔
ایپسٹین کے جنسی جرائم کا شکار خواتین اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ نے میلانیا کو سخت تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ جھوٹ بول رہی ہیں اور اُن ایلیٹ طبقے کو بچا رہی ہیں جو ایپسٹین کے جرائم میں شریک تھا۔ ان کا یہ بھی الزام ہے کہ وہ اس بااثر طبقے کو تحفظ دے رہی ہیں اور ٹرمپ کو بھی بچا رہی ہیں، کیونکہ وہ جیفری ایپسٹین کے ذریعے ہی ٹرمپ تک پہنچی تھیں۔
یہ بہت سنگین اور طویل الزامات ہیں۔ مجموعی طور پر کہا جا سکتا ہے کہ میلانیا ٹرمپ کے بیان نے ایپسٹین فائلز کے معاملے کو دوبارہ زندہ کر دیا ہے۔
اب دوبارہ اسلام آباد کی طرف آتے ہیں—
امریکہ کے نائب صدر جے ڈی وینس اسلام آباد کے لیے روانہ ہو چکے ہیں، جہاں مجوزہ مذاکرات کا اگلا مرحلہ ہونا ہے۔ روانگی سے قبل انہوں نے کہا:
“اگر ایران سنجیدگی سے مذاکرات کے لیے تیار ہے تو امریکہ بھی کھلے دل کے ساتھ آگے بڑھنے کو تیار ہے۔ لیکن اگر ایران دھوکہ دینے کی کوشش کرتا ہے تو ہماری مذاکراتی ٹیم اسی کے مطابق ردعمل دے گی۔”
لیکن صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کے اس بیان کو غور سے سمجھنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ ٹرمپ نے کہا کہ جنگ بندی معاہدے میں لبنان شامل نہیں تھا، لیکن چند ہی منٹ بعد پاکستان کی جانب سے دعویٰ کیا گیا کہ امریکہ اور ایران کے درمیان ہونے والی جنگ بندی میں لبنان بھی شامل ہے۔ اس تضاد نے عالمی سطح پر ابہام پیدا کر دیا ہے۔
ادھر لبنان کے جنوبی شہر نبطیہ میں اسرائیلی فضائی حملوں میں کم از کم 12 شہری ہلاک اور متعدد زخمی ہونے کی اطلاعات ہیں۔ جمعہ کے روز کیے گئے اس حملے میں سرکاری عمارتوں کو نشانہ بنایا گیا، جو مبینہ طور پر فوجی تنصیبات نہیں تھیں۔ اس واقعے نے علاقائی کشیدگی کو مزید بڑھا دیا ہے۔
تو خلاصہ کیا ہے؟
ایک طرف امریکہ سفارتی کوششیں جاری رکھے ہوئے ہے، جبکہ دوسری طرف سخت پیغامات بھی دے رہا ہے۔ یہ الزامات بھی سامنے آ رہے ہیں کہ امریکہ نے پاکستان کے ذریعے ایران سے جنگ بندی کی اپیل کی، جبکہ عوامی سطح پر سخت موقف اختیار کیا۔
موجودہ صورتحال سے واضح ہے کہ مشرقِ وسطیٰ میں حالات انتہائی نازک ہیں، جہاں سفارت کاری، عسکری کارروائیاں اور سیاسی حکمتِ عملی بیک وقت جاری ہیں۔ آنے والے دنوں میں اسلام آباد میں ہونے والے ممکنہ مذاکرات اس پورے بحران کی سمت طے کر سکتے ہیں۔
ایک بات اور—
اسرائیل کے وزیرِ اعظم نیتن یاہو نے اب اسپین کو براہِ راست دھمکی دی ہے۔ اسپین نے مضبوط مؤقف اختیار کیا ہے؛ وہ ابتدا سے ایران کے ساتھ کھڑا ہے اور خود کو حق کے ساتھ جوڑتا ہے۔ اسپین نے کھل کر امریکی بالادستی کی مخالفت کی ہے، اور اسی بات پر اسرائیل سخت ناراض ہے اور اس نے اسپین کو براہِ راست دھمکی دی ہے۔ اسپین کی اہمیت کو کم نہ سمجھیں۔
آخر میں—
برطانیہ کے وزیرِ اعظم کیئر اسٹارمر نے آج کہا کہ وہ ٹرمپ اور پیوٹن سے تنگ آ چکے ہیں۔ یہ کوئی معمولی بیان نہیں ہے۔
میں نے جو کہنا تھا کہہ دیا۔ بھارت ہندو-مسلم معاملات میں الجھا ہوا ہے، جبکہ عالمی سفارت کاری کو نظر انداز کیا جا رہا ہے۔ اتر پردیش کے دارالحکومت لکھنؤ میں آج جمعہ کے دن ایک پولیس اہلکار مسجد میں داخل ہو گیا اور نمازیوں سے کہا کہ اگر آواز باہر آئی تو اگلی بار تمہیں نماز پڑھنے کے قابل نہیں چھوڑا جائے گا۔
تو بھارت کو ہندو-مسلم میں الجھا رہنے دیجیے۔
آپ دنیا میں انصاف اور جمہوریت کی فکر کریں۔
اگر مکار امریکہ کو عقل آ گئی تو اس کے حامی اور اتحادی بھی بالآخر سمجھ جائیں گے۔
